About
Nathan Buckley has been in the restaurant industry for over 25 years, with 23 of those as an Executive Chef, five of those as a Regional Executive Chef over multiple restaurants. He also has many years of General Management experience.
Nathan started out of college with Levy Restaurants at the Arrowhead Stadium. Levy restaurants oversaw the upscale menus in the clubs and private suites for sports stadiums all over the country. Nathan quickly became a kitchen manager and was also put in charge of creating and executing the menu for the Lamar Hunt family suite which had between 100 to 150 guests for every Chiefs game day.
Nathans first Executive Chef position was for Morton’s Steakhouse of Chicago in Kansas City. Morton’s has their own culinary program for the chef’s that are over their restaurants. At at the age of 23, Nathan was the youngest Executive Chef out of the 63 Morton’s restaurants worldwide. He has been the Executive Chef for The Crowne Plaza Hotel as well as The Embassy Suites, and the Regional Executive Chef for Snax Management and Grinders. Some of Nathan's
General Manager experience was at Long Branch Steakhouse, Main Slice, and Bleu Burger.
A few of the concepts Nathan has created and/or written the menus for are Murray’s Tables and Tap, Long branch Steakhouse, Bleu Burger, City Grille and The Local Pizzeria. For multiple Seasons Nathan wrote the menus in the all-inclusive clubs for Sporting KC. He also has assisted in adding menu items to existing menus at Chubby’s On Broadway, Neighborhood Café, Main Slice, and Lakewood Local.
Nathan married the love of his life and his best friend in 2021. Christina shares responsibilities with the business side of KC Restaurant Wellness as well as assists in food photography. Nathan and Christina’s goals for KC Restaurant Wellness is to assist restaurant owners in accomplishing the dreams that they have. Whether it be the first dreams they had when opening their restaurant, or if it is expanding or re-branding their concept to greater aspirations. Together we can make this happen.
